How do I update shipping frequency & quantity?

To update your shipping frequency (aka, every 2 or 4 weeks), simply login to your account << click the green click the green "Manage my Subscription" button << click "edit" in the right column next to your subscription << then click the "Change Delivery Schedule" link. You'll be able to choose "every 2" or "every 4" weeks from there.

To update how much coffee you receive from us (aka, 6oz - 12oz - 24oz) we're actively working on making this do-able from the portal. Until then, we kindly ask that you login to your account << click the green "Manage my Subscription" button << then click "cancel" in the right column next to your subscription. This will cancel your current subscription - then you can start over by selecting any of our coffee plans for a revised quantity. Don't worry - you will not miss any upcoming deliveries by going through these steps (we promise). If you have any concerns, simply shoot us a note at and we'll make sure you're good!

How does the free trial work?

You can try a 2oz sample of our latest roast for free (makes approx. 2 cups). Simply visit our subscription page, pick the plan that makes the most sense for you, and enter code "SAMPLEMEPLEASE" at checkout. If you're stoked on what we send you, then you'll start receiving deliciously dank roasts on a regular basis. This does require a valid payment method in order to get started. Don't worry, we'll send you a reminder before any charges take place.

Will I receive a different bag of beans every time?

That's a bingo! We source the most exciting coffees from all over the world (which happens to be a large place), roast them in Los Angeles and send them directly to your door. We include neat info about each one (what makes the region special, what you might notice in the cup, what to do if you're ever visiting the country of origin, etc). 

Do you roast light coffees or dark?

Every coffee is different. Our goal is to highlight the unique characteristics by a) never over-roasting, but also b) never under-roasting. Far too often we discover a lovely sounding coffee from the local Cafe de Snobbery, only to find the roaster might have pulled the trigger a bit too early (tastes "green" and a bit sour). Have you ever experienced this before? It's no fun. Rest assured that we aim for roasts on the lighter side but will occasionally reach 'medium' levels as well if that coffee calls for it.

How fresh is your coffee? 

Our beans do not sit on a shelf after roasting. Since our business is 100% subscription based, we aim for the closest possible shipment directly after the roast. On the best days that means "same day shipping." But it can occasionally mean 1-2 days after. It's important to note that all coffees need a small "buffer time" directly after roasting so they can chill out. The bags you receive in the mail will be at peak freshness (which will be very clear in the cup). 

Shipping - Like, How Does That Work?

Excluding holidays, we send our beloved bags of beans to our customers every other Monday via USPS First Class . When selecting your plan, you will choose 'deliver every 2 weeks' or 'deliver every 4 weeks.' 

Order tracking is simple. You'll receive an email with USPS tracking information the day your coffee heads out for delivery. You can also login to the Customer Portal to view/modify all upcoming deliveries. Once logged in, click the green "Manage My Subscriptions" button, then look for the "Delivery Schedule" link on the left side of the screen. Will you grind my coffee for me?

In order to ensure the tastiest, freshest stuff in your morning cup - we encourage our customers to grind at home just before brewing. We are happy to recommend the right grinder specific to your comfort level + budget. Check out out handy-dandy page on brewing, or drop us a line at for more info.

What if I need to skip a scheduled delivery?

Easy-peasy. Just login to your account, click the 'Manage my Subscription' button, then click 'Delivery Schedule' to modify any upcoming shipments. You can cancel (or re-activate) your membership at any time via the customer portal. 

How does the 'gift' subscription work?

You can purchase a 3 month pre-paid membership to our coffee subscription for your friends, family and lovers. We'll include a personalized note (from you) in the first box, and they will receive a world-class bag of fresh beans every two weeks from there (six deliveries total). What if I don't like the coffee?

We stand firmly by all of our roasts and we shoot for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are new to making fresh coffee at home, there's a possibility that a few adjustments to your measurements, water temperature, and/or grind settings might fix things. Start with our handy-dandy page on brewing and/or drop us a line at so we can try to help. If we are unable to help you fix the problem and you are still unhappy, we offer full refunds up to 30 days from the purchase date. I need to cancel my subscription.

To cancel your subscription, simply login to your account << click the green "Manage my Subscription" button << then click "cancel" in the right column next to your subscription. We value any/all feedback you'd like to provide so please do let us know how we could do a better job. Please don't hesitate to reach out to to chat more about Latigo or any account-related questions.

How do referrals work?

Anyone with an email address can easily become a Latigo Coffee advocate - just visit our Refer page to get started. Share your unique referral URL as many times as you'd like - anyone who clicks it will receive a custom discount code for $10 off their first bag of beans. You'll receive an email from us when they sign up - and if they stick around after the first free shipment, we send you some love with a $5 kickback (paid out directly via PayPal). Note: the verification process may take up to 4 weeks depending on the 'delivery frequency' your friend chooses. 

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We currently offer free shipping anywhere in the USA, with plans to grow from there! Our deepest apologies to coffee lovers outside these borders.
