The Story:
... and suddenly, it was summer back in California. If only for a couple of days. As I type this, it's 84 outside without a cloud in the sky. It's like we all blinked for just a second and winter needed a break.
What a winter it was, just last weekend! We successfully made it out alive from the Route Beer bikepacking trip from London - Bristol. We rode through wind, hail, mud, even across adorable little canals in the English countryside. As always, we brought a sample roast of this latest batch (Peru - Corosha) to test out in the wild. Despite the significant change in temps, we're digging the cran-apple vibes... and by the time you're reading this, maybe we're back to some cozy rain vibes.
The Story:
Howdy! We're kicking off the month with a fresh batch from one of our favorite producer's in Central America - Arnaud Causse (pictured below). In 2017 and 2018, we featured his legendary Pacamara varietal - and we're back again for year 3 with a new offering (Caturra). This is the only producer we've featured in the lineup year-after-year since launching (and there's a good reason for that). Expect a clean cup with notes of orange peel, cacao nibs and fresh cream. It's really nice.
In other news - we're off to the UK for a short bikepacking stint with Pannier. Please be nice to each other while we're out (... oh, and coffee recs in London are welcome! Hit us up.)
