The Story:
So we just returned from 5 days in central Idaho - where we slung many pots 'o this coffee to an intrepid crew of Swift Campout participants. It was simply divine. We had our ups and downs along the way (plenty more details to come...), but not matter what - this coffee seemed to lift everybody's spirits. Expect delightfully crisp summer fruit in the cup. An absolute favorite of our 2018 menu!
The Story:
We tried something a little different here. For the first time, we hosted a free "public cupping" at Rapha in Santa Monica. Those who showed up (pictured below) helped us sift through 5x "test batches" of Colombian coffees from various regions. What we ultimately decided on was "mystery test batch 4" - aka, this delightfully bright batch from producer Giovanny Liscano at his "Los Cauchos" farm.
The Story:
Every year around this time (as May morphs into June), things just get busy. Weddings and travel and work and things. It's a lot! We hope you're able to slow down for a few minutes each morning with this new batch from producer Mergia Assefa - in the southern Ehtiopia growing region of Kochere. We dig the mellow acidity and chocolate-coated berry vibe. Enjoy folks!
